The document that I chose to talk about from the letter writing assignment is the email. The email was about accepting the job position, why I was excited about it, the salary I expected to make and when I would be able to start. When I first started the assignment I read the directions a few times to make sure I understood what I needed to do. I then looked up on google and in my textbook what a thank you email should have and what the structure should look like, I started the email accepting the position and expressing why I was excited and what I would be able to bring to the company. We also needed to do a little research on the business to figure out what the typical starting salary would be in the area the job was. I looked that up on La Fitness's website and then confirmed my findings on google again, on glassdoor.com.
